Created in 2024 in the Metro East, ScoutConnect is an exposure platform for athletes that aspire to play baseball at the collegiate level.
ScoutConnect shines a light on perspective athletes through tournaments, college camps, spring coverage, social media, and a deep-rooted network of next level connections.
Rooted in the Metro East, our tournaments goal is to create a brand of small, cost-effective, and competitive events for some of the top participating programs in the Midwest, while trying to draw interest of perspective college coaches.
All of our events are four game guarantees and will be played at Triad High School, as well as McKendree University, both of which are turf playing surfaces. We run a traditional Friday – Sunday schedule, do not have stay-to-play regulations, and do not have gate fees for parents/families at entrance.
ScoutConnect camps and events are the most direct form of exposure that our brand offers. By attending a camp, participants are able to showcase their skills in front of college coaches that are in attendance. As an example, the SportsBarn College Camp on September 25th drew more than 20 collegiate programs, including four Division I schools, and had 30+ athletes in attendance.
Aside from the exposure, attending a ScoutConnect camp allows an athlete the ability to receive an up-to-date glance at their measurables through data collection. ScoutConnect uses Rapsodo, TrackMan, and Diamond Kinetics, while also capturing position velocities, laser-timed 60s, and video of each attendee.
