On Saturday, February 15th, the ScoutConnect staff is hosting its inaugural Winter Showcase at the SportsBarn East in Wood River, Illinois. You can learn more about this event by clicking HERE. 

This event is for high school graduates representing the 2025-to-2028 classes and offers participants an opportunity to get in front of our staff, get an updated look at their metrics with TrackMan, Rapsodo, and Diamond Kinetics, as well as an edited recruiting video shortly after the event. As things stand, more than 130 players are registered for this event.

To host all of our data and video, ScoutConnect uses a third party platform called Virtual Combine, which is an industry staple as far as player recruiting goes. By signing up for a ScoutConnect event, players receive the free version of a Virtual Combine profile, essentially serving as an individual’s recruiting resume. EVENT DETAILS

All players participating in this event will run the 60-yard dash, receive positional velocities, TrackMan hitting metrics, Diamond Kinetics bat sensor data, and Rapsodo pitching data. Everything will be on video, which will be sent to each individual athlete in the weeks after the event, as well as uploaded to their Virtual Combine profile.

All position players will check in at 8:30 AM and all pitcher-onlys will check-in at 1:30 PM. Catchers will stay for both sessions, as their evaluation will take place in their defensive workout, as well as when they are catching bullpens.
